Tik — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Codisty (“Codisty”, “we”, “us”), based in Beirut, Lebanon, governing your use of the tik application for Apple Watch and iPhone (“tik” or the “App”). By downloading or using tik, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What tik is

tik is an unofficial, third‑party client that lets you access your existing TikTok account from your Apple Watch and iPhone. tik is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. “TikTok” and related names are trademarks of their respective owners. You must have your own TikTok account to use tik.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your TikTok account and for keeping your credentials secure.
You agree to use tik only for lawful purposes and in compliance with TikTok’s Terms of Service (https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/row/terms-of-service/en).
Important: Accessing TikTok through a third‑party client may be inconsistent with TikTok’s terms, and TikTok may limit, suspend, challenge, or otherwise act against accounts that use unofficial clients. You use tik at your own risk and accept that we are not responsible for any action TikTok takes against your account.
You may not use tik to break any law, infringe anyone’s rights, or send spam or abusive content.

3. License

Codisty grants you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use tik on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, resell, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.

4. tik+ subscription

tik offers an optional auto‑renewable subscription, tik+, which unlocks premium features (such as unlimited For You, Following and search, offline video saves, and instant playback).

Plans & price. tik+ is offered as Monthly ($4.99), 6‑Month ($19.99), and Yearly ($29.99) plans. Current prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
Free trial. The Yearly plan includes a 3‑day free trial. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
Billing & auto‑renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then‑current price unless auto‑renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage your subscription or turn off auto‑renewal in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Codisty cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Disclaimers

tik is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that tik will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or compatible with TikTok at all times. Because TikTok may change or block third‑party access at any time, features may stop working without notice, and we do not guarantee the continued availability of any feature.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codisty will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, account access, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of tik — including any action taken by TikTok against your account. Our total liability for any claim relating to tik will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the six (6) months before the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue tik, or any feature, at any time. You may stop using tik at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, and 8) will survive.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules. You agree that the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of tik.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of tik after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
