MiniTube — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Codisty (“Codisty”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the MiniTube application for Apple Watch and iPhone (“MiniTube” or the “App”). By downloading or using MiniTube, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What MiniTube is

MiniTube is an unofficial, third‑party client that lets you browse, search, and play YouTube content from your Apple Watch and iPhone. MiniTube is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. “YouTube” and related names are trademarks of their respective owners.

2. Your responsibilities

You agree to use MiniTube only for lawful purposes and in compliance with YouTube’s Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).
If you sign in, you are responsible for your Google account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Important: Accessing YouTube through a third‑party client may be inconsistent with YouTube’s terms, and Google may limit, suspend, challenge, or otherwise act against accounts or access that use unofficial clients. You use MiniTube at your own risk and accept that we are not responsible for any action YouTube or Google takes against your account or access.
You may not use MiniTube to break any law, infringe anyone’s rights, download or redistribute content without permission, or circumvent content protections.

3. License

Codisty grants you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use MiniTube on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse‑engineer, resell, or distribute the App except as permitted by law.

4. MiniTube+ subscription

MiniTube offers an optional auto‑renewable subscription, MiniTube+, which unlocks premium features (such as background audio, unlimited browsing and Shorts, and higher playback quality).

Plans & price. MiniTube+ is offered as Monthly, 6‑Month, and Yearly plans. Current prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
Billing & auto‑renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then‑current price unless auto‑renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing & cancelling. You can manage your subscription or turn off auto‑renewal in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Codisty cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Disclaimers

MiniTube is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that MiniTube will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or compatible with YouTube at all times. Because YouTube may change or block third‑party access at any time, features may stop working without notice, and we do not guarantee the continued availability of any feature.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codisty will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, account access, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of MiniTube — including any action taken by YouTube or Google against your account or access. Our total liability for any claim relating to MiniTube will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the six (6) months before the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue MiniTube, or any feature, at any time. You may stop using MiniTube at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, and 8) will survive.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Beirut/Lebanon, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of MiniTube after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
